And who hasn’t cracked open a can of Sprite on a hot summer day, or maybe as a little mix in with your Amaretto. Or, have you tried a small can of pineapple juice mixed in with 7up? Delicious. Well, today we are trying a new lemon lime soda that is trying to make waves in the industry… Pepsico’s new Starry.

A little bit about Starry
Now, Pepsi already has Sierra Mist, but it appears they are ditching that product in attempt to compete with Coca Cola’s Sprite, which has captured 7% share of the $82 billion U.S. soda market, heads and tails above Sierra Mist, which held about 0.1%
According to PepsiCo’s press release, Starry is “a great-tasting soda bursting with lemon lime flavor that delivers the crisp, refreshing bite consumers have been longing for in the lemon lime flavored soda category.” Additionally, the press release states…
“Created by a best-in-class product innovation team, STARRY is easy-to-drink, optimally sweet, and delivers both an exceptional taste and flavor experience. Starry is caffeine-free and is available in a variety of sizes to provide a refreshing burst of lemon lime flavor for every occasion.”
